The 2026 William “Will” Thompson Memorial Scholarship is open. All submissions must be made digitally.
The Tiger Athletic Foundation is pleased to continue the William “Will” Thompson Memorial
Scholarship. This will be our 5th year supporting our local seniors! Will was loved and admired by so many for his commitment to his country, community, family and faith. As a graduate of Princeton Senior High School, Will was a member of the Tiger football and track teams and a great teammate. Will’s children attended PikeView High School. Will loved attending sporting, band and school events in which his children participated.
Will was known for his high energy, positive attitude and enthusiasm for life. The Will Thompson memorial scholarship will honor a graduate who reflects those same qualities through leadership, positivity, strong character, and a commitment to making a positive impact on others.
The Tiger Athletic Foundation will award a one time $1000.00 scholarship to a senior at both Princeton and PikeView High Schools.
In addition, the Scholarship Criteria is as follows:
1) The Student must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA to apply
2) The Student must plan to enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours of college coursework for the Fall 2026 semester.
3) Proof of GPA and college enrollment must be mailed by August 1, 2026 before funds will be distributed to the school you plan to attend.
