FAFSA Workshop
During this in-person workshop, one or more financial aid experts will be available to assist parents and students in completing the 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The student and all parent(s) must create an account (FSA ID) at StudentAid.gov three to five days before filling out the FAFSA.
This event is free.
Register, mark your calendars and join us! Event reminders will be sent via email from Eventbrite
Who needs to file the FAFSA?
Any student considering attending college must complete the FAFSA to apply for scholarships, grants, and other financial aid such as work-study funds and loans. Completing and submitting the FAFSA is free and easier than ever. It also gives you access to the largest source of aid to help pay for college or career school.
In addition, many states and colleges use your FAFSA information to determine eligibility for state and school scholarships and grants. Some private aid providers may use the information to determine whether you qualify for their scholarships.
What will I need to fill out the FAFSA?
To complete the FAFSA, you will need:
- Your Social Security Number or your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
- The student will also need the contributor (parent) social security number), date of birth, and active email address.
- Your 2023 federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned.
- Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
- Records of child support received in 2023
- Your FSA ID, which must be created in advance at StudentAid.gov
If you are a dependent student, do not forget, you will also need the above information for your parent(s).
