Space Trek

The SpaceTrek Program, hosted by the West Virginia Small Satellite Center, is a hands-on, immersive summer program focused on space systems engineering and aerospace technology. This program is designed for young women entering grades 9–12 or beginning college as freshmen. 

The SpaceTrek Program will allow participants to engage in advanced learning, working directly with professionals and professors in aerospace engineering, satellite technology, and STEM education. The program will take place from July 12–20, 2025, at the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at WVU, with students residing in the Evansdale Residential Complex.

  • Participant Fee: $1,000 (Scholarships and financial aid are available for qualifying students)
    • We may be able to offer the program free of charge for qualifying students.
