The Chester Pettrey Scholarship Fund was established in 1991 in order to honor the memory of a dedicated, hard-working PSHS teacher, Chester Pettrey, who passed away in August of 1990.
Mr. Pettrey taught Geometry, Algebra, General Math, and Consumer Math at PSHS from 1976-1990. In addition to his teaching duties, he was a tireless worker for our school. As Sponsor of the Stage Crew, he set up the stage for all programs and set up the concession stand for all ballgames. In honor of his service to PSHS, the faculty established a scholarship to be awarded to a hard-working senior.
